Welcome
I am a practitioner of Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Foot Massage. Having
grown up in my native Thailand observing and learning these skills, I formalised
my training by qualifying at the renowned Wat Pho massage school in Bangkok.
I now live with my husband in
West Swindon and offer both forms of massage from
our home.
Traditional Thai Massage
This is an ancient form of therapy with its roots in Buddhist spiritual practice.
It is a full body massage that consists of stretching, rhythmic massage and thumb
pressure. It takes place on a mat on the floor with the customer wearing loose
comfortable clothing. The massage is slow, gentle and non-invasive, and appropriate
for even the most fragile person. Thai massage is very relaxing and can help
manage stress and improve flexibility.
Thai Foot Massage
Among the reported benefits of Thai Foot Massage are improved
circulation and flexibility, reduced stiffness, stress relief, improved sleep and
clarity of mind.
The customer is seated in a comfortable chair throughout the foot massage.
The lower legs and feet are massaged and stretched following the application of
a soothing massage cream. A massage stick is used to stimulate reflex points
on the feet meaning that the customer feels energised rather than sleepy.
